Staging is about bringing the best of the Room/space while hiding /downplaying its drawbacks. Sometimes all it takes is a good cleaning job and a little bit of creativity!
BEFORE: This bedroom is nice and big, so much so that the Owners were using it also as their TV room (notice the 2 old IKEA chairs near the window)

AFTER: By adding nice bedding, chairs, cushions etc. and rearranging the furniture a little bit we created a more functional and appealing space.

It looks so much better. But as a real estate agent I would suggest a couple of other things. A nice large picture above the bed. Sometimes removing all wall decor and having white walls just looks to sterile. Remember you are competing with other homes. So look your best. Clean, clean, clean. Second photo: If something does not work, remove it. Change out or remove the TV stand, it doesn't work with the pretty chairs. Just my opinion.

I agree with Lisa I'm afraid. This looks almost like a studio apt. It's just my opinion but nothing is appealing in that room.
