Reclaimed Message Centers

I'm having a blast coming up with new and fun message centers created from reclaimed wood, shutters, cabinet doors, and folding chairs...
Today's message center was the most fun. Created from a folding chair, I nailed and screwed the chair together.
Cork and chalkboard were added in unique places on the chair to create a one of a kind vintage look.
A shelf was added to hold the chalk or even a cup for pencils.
Vintage hooks and clips are added to hang keys and hold coupons, photos, or notes.
A pre-made chalkboard added to the top is the perfect place for a grocery list or reminders.
