Adding personality to pantry doors

We used to live in what is now our rental house. A couple of years ago when I decided to update the kitchen on a budget, I gave the pantry doors a little update with paint and fabric...
Here's how the doors looked before...like they came straight out of the 90's!
I painted the doors the color of the repainted trim and used fabric from 2 pillow cases to make curtains for the pantry. Using a glue gun, I put the curtain right on the glass! The fabric is easily changed - just in case!

    I love this! I wouldn't have thought to just glue it to the door, I have metal doors with windows & don't want to dill the hard ware in & this is perfect, thank you for sharing & I think you could use this on a door with out a window too, make a mock window.

    genius idea..i have alot of the slatted folding doors through my home..closets and bath in my bedroom..im truing to think of a way to take the slats out in my daughters room and replace wth girly fabric.. any suggestions
