Bird nest ID

Question

Can anyone identify what kind of bird would make this kind of nest? It is 3' across. This is a very neat looking nest. I have had it for several months. Thanks, Teresa

Even if I knew what kind of tree it was in and where in the country it was found, I would have to say that is a pretty typical looking birds nest. Best bet is to watch for birds in the area that it was found and see what types nest in the area.

3' is a s,all bird. so look near where ir was fond for small bird and any egg pieces. likely sparrow, blue bird, robin type. I would spray it with multiple layers of a matt finish lacquer to preserve and seal off any critters.

Maybe a golden wing warbler or even a robin. If you've got a local bird-watching society, they could probably tell you for sure!

I think it might be a robin's nest. I had a family of robins for several years in Northern Ontario and your nest resembles mine.

If it's only 3' wide it's was a small bird, possibly a sparrow. It's pretty. Enjoy it and don't fret about who it belonged to!

It's not a wren's nest or robin's nest.....wren's nest is made of twigs and robins nest is much larger!

Hello. It looks like a pretty generic next to me. Without photographs of the birds or feathers it is very difficult to determine.
