Lately whenever I'm out shopping, my eye seems to be drawn to baskets and items with rope handles. Must be feeling nautical.

I love them too! My daughter loves the beach and this year purchased her first home. I suggested she use a beach theme in her half bath downstairs. I made her a couple of framed fabric prints that mimic the colors you see at the beach and we covered some foam boards in a pretty marble colored Contact paper, which also had the pretty beige and blue colors. These were added to her shelves above commode for stability. She uses baskets similar to yours too.
