DIY Free Standing Wall With Vintage Wallpaper

I have been wanting a free standing wall as a backdrop for my furniture. Tearing my house apart every time to stage and take picture a piece of furniture takes a toll on our home, plus it is a lot of work. I have also been selling at boutiques and markets so I wanted something to spice my space up a bit. I had gone back and forth about doing a ship lap wall or a painted wall....I wanted it to have it’s own character to add that touch of vintage….I am happy to say I have finally found the perfect backdrop….vintage wallpaper!
Here is how my wall started out looking! Nothing too fancy, actually it was quite dull.
Before applying my wall paper I laid it all out. I wanted my wall to look like it has several years of layered wallpaper peeling off. So I made sure it was random.
This wall turned out just how I had hoped….that doesn’t happen all the time…but it is the perfect backdrop for my pictures and will look great in my booth!
For all the details on how I built this wall and made my wallpaper look patched head over to my blog post. I am also so excited to be part of Hometalk's blog hop. Make sure you check it out, there are lots of amazing posts!
