Home has painted laminate counter tops covered with resin. Area near sink is bubbled and peeling as it sink was not removed when originally done. Best way to repair or redo entire countertop. Not handy with tiles and tools limited.

Hello! Sounds like they didn't properly seal around the sink. You can sand the resin off from around the sink, but it'll definitely show. Typically, resins don't "feather" well, and you can always tell when part of it has been poured on top of dried resin...so, you can sand the entire thing and start over, or fill in the part by the sink, protect it with a sealant this time, and do some other kind of covering (they make a special contact-type paper that also looks like granite you might try), or just repaint it.
