Farm Bench From Rescued Lumber
My husband built this heavy farm bench from lumber that came from a job he was working on in Joplin, Mo. after the tornado. He grabbed up a pile of 2 x's in several sizes that were left over after an apartment complex rebuild. They were going to be thrown in the dumpster What???! I painted it and roughed it up real good to age it and he added the star nail heads and the rusted star. We gave it to my son and DIL for a wedding gift. They used it at their wedding for their sand ceremony. It was a lovely, rustic addition to the wedding decor.
