Plastic easter eggs and cardboard mirror
Supplies: Dollar Tree plastic eggs 4 pkgs, 1 large cardboard, spray paint, mirror and glue gun, duct tape or washi tape to trim the edges of the card board and 1 soda tab to hang it
Draw a circle around ur mirror in the middle of your cardboard, then draw another circle about 3 inches out from the mirror circle for your egg placemen. This is my homemade protractor
Glue ur mirror with E6000 glue, then put something heavy on top. Leave for about an hour
Go outside an spray paint ur eggs. Let dry 30 minutes
Back outside spray paint ur cardboard around ur masking taped mirror. Let dry 30 minutes
This is what it will look like after everything is painted. Start hot gluing ur eggs to the cardboard. Then take a scissors and cut around the eggs as close as possible. Then cover up those small jagged edges with decorative washi tape or duct tape
Finished product
I used a soda tab hot glued on the back to hang it

If gluing the eggs, can't they overlap the edge of the base material(cardboard or wood) just enough to cover that edge and eliminate the need for covering it with another material? Seems that would provide a more "finished" perimeter. Great project- thanks for sharing...

Will the soda tab really hold it? How much does it weigh When finished?
