How We Flipped This House and Sold It in 3 Days

The siding on the front of the house was actually in good shape so it was just cleaned up a bit. Then a new concrete slab was added along with a new roof.
Judging from the front before pic, you wouldn't think the back would be this bad - would you? Maybe it was business in the front, party in the back? Who knows - but this place was a total dump! yuck.
All new siding was installed. We added a larger kitchen window (the window left of the far right door) and the guys built a brand new deck. Now the new owners can actually sit outside and enjoy the large yard!
The bright red walls and lovely dark crown molding really work in here, don't ya think? No?
This was a small galley kitchen with not much going for it, so I decided to add some character by installing DIY hardwood floors, adding some shiplap on the walls, and also planking the ceilings and painting them a pretty blue (BM Palladian Blue).
All new stainless steel appliances were added. When buying appliances, try to buy them as a package deal to save money (all 4 appliances here were purchased from Lowes for $1738 - including tax!)
We added a new larger window to bring more light into the kitchen. Craig installed some beefy farmhouse trim around the window, the old sink was cleaned up and a new faucet was added. Much better!
**tip: in a small kitchen, remove upper cabinets and add open shelves instead - it's cheaper than cabinetry and it visually opens up the space. win-win!
Wilsonart Laminate countertops in Madura Pearl give the look of granite but for a much cheaper ($330) price and are easy to maintain and very durable.

Only problem with open shelves is grease and dust build up..
