is it ok to lay utility grade red oak in my house?

    I actually prefer the look of "utility" grade...the knots and colors are far more exciting. Generally with this grade you need to add a bit more to your order to account for pieces that may be a bit too rustic...to install well. large voids or splits are more common. One of my all time fav's is rustic White oak....here the colors can be quite varied.
