The French Sofa Redo!

Updating an old 1800's French sofa to the 2013 version using paint, grain sacks, and drop cloths for upholstery! It retains the "frenchy" feel but in a more relaxed casual way! We invite you to come visit for a closer look!

This really looks marvelous! I have an old settee that has a pretty good back - with lots of buttons on the seat. The color and pattern are very hard to match. I may have to keep your inspiration in mind!

Thank you Kathy! The sides of this one was tufted, but I was too "chicken" to attempt tufting when I reupholstered it! Maybe next time!
