What systemic pesticide will control leaf miners in boxwoods?

    Imidacloprid (several homeowner products) gives good control if used when adults are swarming in April. Adults are bright orange, delicate flies that look like small orange mosquitoes. Leafminer adults are very noticeable against the dark green background of boxwood leaves.
