DYI: Repurposed Timber

From this snow-crushed barn ... to my studio stash, I dragged lengths of century-old farm implements to my table-saw and then my imagination. If it's vintage and has rust, old paint or a certain patina, it waits for a new life to unfold in my "groove den".
200-year old neighboring barn gave me timber galore
cut timber waiting
Tiny sample of stash. (I actually have bins and bins and bins of junk.)

A bird actually starting twigging the inside after I left this "fowl-playhouse " out to dry.

A plain old wooden box gets a new life.
Half a red wooden wagon wheel, upholstery tacks, finial, cookie press, croquet mallet ...

That is nice of you to say. I don't blog much because I am concentrating my time in the studio. The physicality of my creative work is a real pull ---so I won't sit still for very long in front of this screen.
