Check out this new door hardware - hands free!

The door knob of the future. No arm twisting. No hand turning. Totally new concept for entry hardware designed to be the most convenient, practical and still be aesthetically pleasing! Retrofits to most existing door cutouts and a mere 1/2" of movement easily opens any door.

After sharing this information on my blog, the company contacted me and asked if I would like to test one out - I did not hesitate with YES! And I am pleased to say this handle is everything they say it is! I installed it on our garage door, the door we use 95% of the time. When we enter from the garage, you simply push the handle - with your hand, elbow or even your hip. Exiting it is a push down, with your hand, or if you hands are full - elbows do the trick too.

That is just about the cat's meow!! I'm willing to bet that 1. A woman deisgned this or 2. A woman was instrumental in it's design. Seems like WE always have our hands/arms full w/multiple items - hey, just like the gal in the picture! Now if you want someone else to test it out I suppose I could volunteer'!!!

Speaking of the cat's meow, I wonder if my cat would learn to open it? (Love the product)

My first thought is that it may be a bad design if one has a dog, a child or what ever that could open the door. Bad idea. PerfectMatchInteriors.com

I actually own one and it is the favorite door in the house for how easy it is to use! Coming in the door with loaded arms - you just push in on the handle. leaving with loaded arms - push down. Nothing bad about it in our world!
