DIY Pallet Sign

We have a new baby in the family! My cousin and his wife had their first baby, and the whole family is excited about a new little munchkin to love on.
I’m always on Pinterest, seeing all of those cute signs people make, and I have been jealous that I didn’t have a little one to make one for.
Now that we do, I decided to get to work!
I have been hoarding pallets under our deck ever since I made my Pallet Wood Arrow, so I drug one of them out and my hubby nailed some together for me.
I then dry brushed it with Americana Chalky Finish Paint in Everlasting.

My hubby bought me a Silhouette Cameo 2 years ago, and I had never taken it out of the box. I had heard from lots of people that it took some time to figure out how to use it, and frankly it seemed that I never had an extra 5 minutes (let alone a couple of hours) to figure the sucker out.
Alas, I wanted to make this sign, so I decided that it was now or never. I will admit, it did take some time, and I’m still not sure exactly what all I did, so before I try to act like an expert and give you a tutorial, I need to spend some more time figuring it out before I offer some bad advice.

Once I finally printed the stencil, I used these little pouncers to lightly paint on the letters. I used Americana Chalky Finish Paint in Treasure.
