Paper Mache Confetti #Easter Eggs

If you're looking for a fun Easter craft to do with the kids that will let you spend some good quality time together, try your hand at a little paper mache. It's really a simple, if not delightfully messy project that the children will LOVE. These confetti Easter eggs are small, so they are manageable for kids of all ages!
We start with a few water balloons...as we are trying to keep our eggs small!
Make up a paste of 1 part Elmer's Glue, one part water. Cut newspaper strips 3/4 inch x 6 inches.
Working on a covered area, dip the newspaper in the paste and layer around your balloon.
Let the eggs dry overnight!
Using a 3/4 inch circle punch, make lots and lots of confetti circles out of different colors of paper. Be sure to use paper, not cardstock!
Tissue paper works, too, as seen on this kid-made egg.
