DIY Spring Birch Bark Candles
I bought these plain unscented white pillar candles and turned them into these pretty Spring inspired mantel candles.
Plain white unscented pillar candles
It is so easy to turn plain candles into something spectacular with just a few supplies from the craft store.
Before and after DIY SpringBirch Bark Candles
I found this pretty birch bark ribbon and knew it would make a beautiful candle wrap for a couple of unscented white pillar candles I had left over from a similar candle craft I made over the holidays.

Back during the Christmas holidays I made these Festive Christmas Candles using a similar technique.
Spring Birch Bark ribbon
The birch bark ribbon I used has moss on it making it perfect for these Spring inspired decorative candles.
Spring Birch Bark Candle Supplies
I used plastic floral picks but you can use any type of artifical flowers. These candles are not meant to be burned but as decorative candles for a pretty display on a table top or mantle.
I wrapped the candles in the birch bark ribbon. Then I made a mini floral and butterfly posey to use as the focal point on the front of the candle.
Once the posey was attached I added a mini chalkboard sign.

You could also use the Spring Birch Bark Candle to make this pretty center piece like I did.

I just wanted to make a caveat about using artificial flowers. I had a fire last Christmas that ruined a mahogany tabletop with deep burns from silk flowers (Ithink they were really polyester). Now my $5,000 table is ruined and my ins will not cover it.

This is so pretty! I have four candle holders with ivory candles ( battery lights inside) that I just took down because they look wintery. Now I will use your idea and tie on seasonal decorations with ribbon and use them all year. Less storage space taken up for seasonal decor! Thanks for giving me the idea !!!!!!
