I finally decided what to put behind the guest room bed. I am very pleased with it, but it does look better in person. My husbands was so kind to hang it all for me. Thanks to those on Hometalk that help me decide not to the first thing I posted because this looks much better than my first idea.
To make this canopy I purchased the white shelf with the tin already attached at a barn sale. We hung a curtain rod behind the shelf and added the curtains. It was very easy to make and I have been very happy with it for the past two years.

Love the idea, would have made it the width of the bed....but very cute and love the fabric!
