DIY Marble Easter Eggs
Paint your with nail polish to give them a chic marble look.
To create the marble pattern on the Easter eggs I filled a paper cup with water then poured Essie White and Essie Devil's Advocate for the black and white marbled easter eggs, but by using one shade which I did with Essie Bahama Mama and Essie She's Pampered you end up with a watercolor-looking finish.
Fill a cup with water and pour nail polish on top. Take a coffee stir stick or something else you don’t mind getting nail polish on to swirl the paint around the top of the water.
This is what the DIY marble Easter eggs look like when they are done. Each egg will have a unique pattern.
Dip the egg into the cup, and use the stir stick to flip the egg over so that the nail polish gets on both sides. At this point, you will want to put on rubber gloves and pick up the egg and place it on wax paper to dry. Pour more nail polish into the cup, and repeat the same process until all the eggs are painted.

Once done your marble or watercolor Easter eggs would look amazing gathered in a basket or placed down the middle of your dining room table. Aren't these a great non-candy Easter egg idea?

I did some last week using plastic eggs. they are not perfect but they turned out pretty good. Picture below. Could probably take more time to fill in the cracks, etc, but was just expermenting with some old nail polish.

I did not see where you said for decoration only. Chemicals can seep thru the eggshell. Not food safe.
