Springtime Centerpiece

The desire to hurry spring along sent me to the grocery store and Walmart in search of something pretty for my dining table. First stop was at Walmart where I found this pretty colander for less than $10.
Next stop was at the grocery store where $5 bought me this bunch of tulips!
I lined the colander with plastic to protect it from sitting water and to protect my table from leaking water when I tend to the plants. The space in between the pot and the planter I filled with plastic eggs as they can be seen through the holes. I covered them with a layer of plastic.
I added preserved moss from A.C.Moores for $5. A total of less than $20 and I have a centerpiece for my dining table and a pretty colander to fill with fruit in the summer!
Happy Easter!

Why did you put the eggs if you were going to cover them with moss? Personally I think if it was for Easter, I'd of put more of the eggs in to cover around the top of the pot.
