DIY Chalkboard Tabletop
I had this heirloom child's table that was doing double-duty as a coffee table in my living room. I'm all for a little patina but the surface was very badly marked and stained. I painted only the top with black chalkboard paint. Now it can be wiped down for a tidier "living room" look, plus it adds some fun for the kids. Check out the full blog post to see how I did it.

Prime, then paint the tabletop with black chalkboard paint.
