I found this old hanging box and painted it with funky colors. The water hose hanger was not sturdy enough to hold my hose, so I put a yard sale find with flowers in it. My favorite Penny's!

I'll have to consider adding something similar in the spring. I really like the look of hanging the plants from the brick. That could especially brighten up my back yard where there is lots of exposed brick at the base of the house (ground level basement in the rear of the house).
