Can someone please help me find out what kind of material is used to make the tubs for chandeliers? I went to Home Depot and they didn't sell them. My husband will make some but I need to find out what kind of material we need. Thank you.

It's a thin plastic similar to the snap on covers that used to be sold to cover shower curtain rods (don't know if they are still out there). The tubes are sold and for all the trouble, I'd just order them on line. They're not very expensive.

These are called candelabra covers. I see where HD carries them onilne, and in the store. They are pretty easy to find- our local Menards carries them.

PVC pipe plumbing tubes...buy sz approx, cut to desired length and paint. Works great, I've done myself and pleased with results...

I have heard these called "candle sleeves." Home Depot and Lowes DO sell them. I think I recall seeing them around where the ceiling fans are displayed. You can also find them in lighting specialty shops and online. However, take one with you when you go shopping or measure before you order online because they come in different diameters and heights. If yours are in good shape but just need some freshening up, you can remove them and spray paint them. You can also add faux drips with a hot glue gun and then paint. I've done this and it looks really cool.
