The house we're moving into only has a laundry closet and I love your idea with the doors. I believe the current doors are large fold out doors on a track. Does the barn door interfere with the knob on the adjacent door? Our basement door is right next to the laundry closet.

I have been looking into doing similar to this as a false wall. I want to shrink the room size when I run my Air Conditioner.
