Wood cutting boards are beautiful and can last for a very long time if you take care of them. Here is a simple tutorial on how to maintain your wood cutting boards so they last for decades!
Cutting boards aren't hard to maintain, but they do require a little more care than some things. It is totally worth the effort though! All you need is a little lemon, salt, and some food grade mineral oil.
It is very important to make sure you don't let them soak in water. So, dishwashers are a no go!

Thanks for the tips. I have a wood cutting board that is about 60 yrs. old. I don't use it though because I didn't know how to care for it and clean it.
