Upcycled Metal and Glass Goodwill Table

I was at the Goodwill as I always am a few times a week and I spotted this metal bottom and glass top table. I thought it would be a challenge because I'm not usually keen on pieces like this but something about it was calling my name. I paid 20 bucks for it. After it was sitting for quite sometime the idea of chalkboard paint for the surface came to me. I sprayed the top with Krylon black chalkboard paint, which is perfect for writing those little reminders of what to TiVo, what not to miss, or even just a daily reminder of how beautiful life is. As for the bottom half I decided on a green shade in Pistachio from the Krylon line. The bottom was so detailed I decided to spray paint it instead of using a brush. You can see the step by step process and more photos at my blog....http://quirkycool.blogspot.com/2013/04/upcycled-metal-and-glass-table.html

Fits perfectly with the décor in this room. Great for a side table in a living room or bedroom.
