The Green Anole. What a wonderful asset to my garden. And no harmful chemicals.

We have two that like our porch railing. Buy some dried mealworms and watch them have a feast.

I sure do have them in Alabama. I think they are so cute. Startle me sometimes, but mine are very friendly .I don't know why? They come out and watch me plant or cut flowers, or sprinkel the lawn. I have some that change coloors and some that are pure white. do you know what the white ones are? no one here has seen any like them before.

Carol, SOOO IRONIC I saw this in your post. I have been wanting to post a picture of one because I have them around my garden, and did not know what they were called. Of course, from your post, I learned their name, and that they are also common where I live. I LOVE THEM!!! Thank you for sharing your little guys with us.

I have plenty of these little guys. Even had one in a plant I moved inside and didn't even know it until I went to move it outside in the spring. I enjoy watching them.

Have you ever noticed what good exterminators they are. They catch & eat bugs that are larger than they are. Seems like I have a lot more lizards this year & I am glad.
