31,140 pennies, some grout, and a little sealant later, and we have a pretty cool kitchen floor. :) The pennies are all heads up, facing the same direction.

    I'm a Librarian, so I know "there are no dumb questions, " but here's one that might be: I love this floor, and I've seen other penny treatments in home articles. Can anyone tell me if this much copper in the house itself would ever, in any way, interfere with electronic/electric reception, transmission, conductivity or anything like that, in your house? I have noticed that sometimes a building made with steel studs or joists or beams, seems to interfere with my wireless reception, or seems to.I can't catch a good signal from my modem to my Kindle if I'm in another room, for example. Does anyone know if that's just my imagination? Would this amount of copper have any effect? You can just say, "No, Ding Bat, quit worrying about it." Thanks!
