Spring Dining Room

Hey friends! This is a little glimpse into my dining room for Spring! This room serves double duty as a dining room and an office. It is the hardest working room in our house! I hope you enjoy the tour!
My buffet is one of my favorite places to decorate for the seasons. And one day I am going to get around to painting this piece of furniture. The old lantern you see hanging on the wall was a gift from a sweet friend. It is from an old train car and I love it. I painted the small vintage suitcase you see below. I found it at a yard sale and painted it with chalk paint.
Across the room is a new gallery wall I have started. The mirror and all of the frames were thrift store finds. The two white frames were shiny gold, but I didn’t love the tint of the gold, so I gave them a coat of chalk paint and then distressed them a bit so that some of the gold still shines through.
I made this cloche with thrift store items. This is a glass bowl, and then on the same day I found this little metal pedestal and the bowl fit on it perfectly, like it was meant to be! I just hot glued this pretty glass knob on top. Inside are the roses my husband gave me for Valentines Day. They were the most beautiful roses and they stayed pretty for so long. They even dried pretty, so I clipped off the stems and decided to make them part of my Spring decor.
