How do you get rid of clover stickers

Hi Douglas! I believe Vicki is speaking of Burr clover! I myself am trying to find a way to get rid of these horrible painful weeds in my lawn! We recently moved into a new home and what used to be a beautiful lush lawn is now consumed with Burr clover! I've always known them as clover stickers as they always seem to grow in what appears to be a beautiful yard of green clover! Inserting a picture of the sticker part that grows along with the clover! These are very prickly when green but dry to brown which if stepped in you spend a lot of time picking each individual small thorn out of your feet!
