Would you/can you help me , w/ my little garden?

If I send pictures, will you guys give me ideas on what to do this year to make my garden more back friendly? Itis not big just long..hostas are coming up now,and the day lilies have been up for more than a week. I usually have alyssum filling in everywhere, more details later if someone wants to help a little.

Ok I took pictures today, looks so dismal before things really start growing. I also found pictures of the garden in full bloom. I will post probably tomorrow. Gotta get my ducks in a row. I practiced on the glass "art" above! haha..I hate not knowing how to do techno stuff, very stressful for me.
