These are so cute. Their names made me laugh :)) -
These are sweet...how big are the holes? -
Really neat and clever!!! -
When I was a long-term volunteer down in New Orleans, there was a very creative Americorps volunteer who was always collecting our plywood, trim board, etc., scraps and making them into birdhouses. They were wonderful and made cute gifts for the homeowners we worked with. -
If I was a bird I would love to live here. -
Do they really make their nest in there? or get in? Do you put some food inside to attract them? I would love to have them in my patio :) -
Yes, they really live in these. We have several bird feeders in the yard. LOL, you have to be careful where you put them or you will be very unhappy with the mess they make. We have them in trees in the yard and on the fence. -
Great to see "scraps" go to such good use. Your birds have very cheerful homes! -
Lots of nice homes for the birds! -
There was a similarly huge birdhouse in my yard when I bought the place, but it was falling apart and really looked awful, so I took it down. I've been looking to replace it for over a year now. How much would your hubby charge for that 6-seater, unpainted?? :) -
I spoke w/my hubby. Building a birdhouse for you wouldn't be a problem. However, the shipping of a birdhouse of this size and weight would be expensive :-(. I don't think you would be happy with the shipping charges that the post office charges -
Ooh, good point, Debi. Thanks though!! -
I am going to give this a try.
