Recycled Plastic Coffee Containers

I will be remodeling my kitchen soon, so I needed some ways to get extra storage without taking any money away from the big projects. So I used some old coffee containers, painted them white and applied waterslide decals to them. The graphics came from the Graphics Fairy http://graphicsfairy.blogspot.com/p/search.html She has some beautiful images there to choose from. These are some that I have completed so far.

I bought some waterslide decal paper and printed the images on them. Cut them out and let them sit in water until the image slides from the paper, about 30 seconds. Then you can apply to the container, smooth and let dry. The decal paper costs about $1.00 per 8 1/2" X 11" sheet.

I bought mine on ebay and I know it is also available on amazon.com. I haven't checked the craft stores like Michael's or Hobby Lobby, but they may have it as well.

My daughter in law bought her water slide decals at Hobby Lobby. Those are super cute!
