Finally found a use for the old pallets I collected over a year ago. This entry way piece cost us about $30 to make, and makes a huge impact. What a fun project!
It all started from these pallet planks.
Created a base for the design
Cut, cleaned and sanded each board.
Started our pattern.
Glued the boards in place with liquid nails.
Up close.
All done!
The top pattern was a bit different.
Here it is in the house, un-accessorized. I placed a small bench in front to complete the look.
Added a few hooks and my cast iron welcome signs and it's all set!

Such a super job! I see that one of the boards in your posts was a bit wavy? But just wandered if it's best not to use them. Did you end up using it? Hard to tell if you did. Just an awesome job.

I LOVE IT! Great design and build. Did you make the bench too? Your space looks so warm and inviting!

This is normally not my forte. However this by far is the most amazing and beautiful thing I’ve ever seen with palette boards. Most palette board projects are not me! But this is GORGEOUS!!! The only thing that I would do different is use a grey stain for the wood. Is it possible to get measurements for this. I’ve never tried to build anything before in my life. But heck it’s never to late to learn 🤣
