Is it safe to plant some flowers and vegetable w/ us still having frosts every night? It gets down to anywhere from 28

- 36, but then the days are sunny and range from high 50's to 70.

    You could put out pansies, which like it cool, but not the more traditional summer annual flowers, which cannot take a frost. If you can work the ground, it is safe to sow vegetables like spinach, beets and radishes.
