Simple Summer Mantle

Since I am still crazy about the lemons and boxwood that I used on our mantle for spring...I decided to just add a sign that I had made last year and a burlap banner. Some simple little changes made with things that I already had around the house. I love the way that it turned out. Bright and cheery with a little farmhouse thrown in...works for me.
Just an old board that was leftover from some other project and red and white paint that we had around the house. Throw in some stencils....and...there you go!
This little banner was so easy. I love the French strip on the burlap.
Of course there is a little chalkboardiness involved. ;)
