I have a laundry room that I want to make into a half bath..I want to move the washer and dryer out into the garage..

There are 2 steps into the garage..Will I need a pumping system and will my pipes freeze in the winter time? And about how much will it cost, not including the bathroom...ty

If the temps in your garage fall below freezing this would be a bad idea...not so much for the supply of drain lines but for the small amount of water that always "lives" in the machines line and pumps. A pump case can expand and crack due to freezing...then you have an expensive leaky problem.

perhaps you could do a bump out into the garage space from the inside? or go with a stacked set to cut down on the foot print?
