Repurposed Victorian Hall Tree for Hanging Flower Baskets

At a flea market I found an old Victorian hall tree. It was missing some parts and the mirror and quite rusty. In my mind a saw a perfect place to hang flowers in my garden. After a good sanding and a couple of coats of Rustoleum paint, I have a one of a kind place for hanging baskets in my little courtyard.

That is so creative. You took junk and made it useful & very pretty. I lack that talent.

Debi, very cool! Are the umbrella holders on the bottom round enough to place a pot in each? If so, you could add more flowers.

Nice- I love white in the garden because it shines in the moonlight!

very clever. Using the umbrella holders for pots is a nice idea, or train a climber up the tree. I also thought about a hummingbird feeder using one of the many possible hanging areas. Sure beats the black shepherd pole I have in my yard!

LOL, we must be having some of the same ideas. Yesterday I found a planter that fit the umbrella stand and planted a new variety of begonias in it, plus I added two small coconut planter with vines hanging. I posted it on FB, but forgot to post it in Hometalk. Will do so right now!

Recycle, reuse, repurpose and beautify your home all at the same time. Great job Debi! Now I'll be on the look out for something like that.

This is a great idea. It might also work for my husband's birdfeeders too. Thanks!

LOL, now you'll give my hubby ideas. He'll be hanging his birdhouses over my potted plants.
