Useful space I created under my basement stairs

I utilized almost every inch of usable space under these stairs. 30" deep drawers under the lower section and a small mini bar in the higher back part. and also a deep storage area beyond the countertop.

I would really like you to email me the plans; my husband and I are combining two households and there is never enough space!

We created this idea years and years ago. Contractor did the building though. We lined them with cedar for winter woolens. Did the same thing with depth..full length of the stairs..they are terrific. If remember right the builder created the frame to fit and then inserted it ready for the drawers.

Im finishing my basement now. Im creating 3 bedrooms and a laundry/wash room. So far I made under the stairs to the wall a closet. Its only framed out at present. Really think I may employ this idea instead! Having 9 kids in the house....storage is always an issue and new practical ideas are welcomed! If you are emailing your plans out..please include me!

That is extra super neat! I love how the drawers are different sizes. I might have even put different handles on each one.

I had a question about warping. My steps are against the outside wall and my basement is not finished-but stays dry. I live in a northern climate by the lake so temps vary quite a bit too-would any of this make a diffference?

I want it, I want it, I want it. Now I just have to find someone to make them for me. This is great and would add lots of storage to my laundry room.

I always love those big spaces under stairs, but then think, "you would never be able to find anything in them". This solves that problem. GREAT idea!

I showed your fantastic storage solutions to my neighbor and helper - He went out and got me more metal storage racks and a few used filing cabinets. He liked the idea, but I think he thought it would be to muchwork for him - lol.
