Thanks for the creative idea. I have an old exterior door that we just decided to replace. I really like the door, so now I have options of what to do with it! -
Those look sooo good! So much more interesting than an ordinary coffee table or store bought shadow boxes. I bet you have a lot of other creations too! -

I'm assuming he uses the original glass. I am wondering about safety around children and pets. Have you had any such issues? Is it as fragile as it looks? -
Can you send your hubs to my house!! I've got some old windows just waiting for something cool like this! -
Love them! :) Great Green ideas! -
Christopher- yes, it's the original glass. It's withstood the weight of photo frames and vases just fine but I don't trust it around my 4 year old son, so I can't attest to the safety factor since it's not anywhere near him! :) I'd say no. -
Where do u find your winows? -
Anita I have found them all over the place. We got a few at antique stores in Florida and mostly around home at Antique stores in Bham area. I go to The Blue Building in Alabaster a lot. -
Love these ideas and I just found someone with old windows for $10 a piece!! Woo-hoo!!! Is the Blue Building an architectural salvage by any chance? -
Yay! Great find, Julie! The Blue Building is part antique mall, part interior consignment, part salvage! Hard to pinpoint what they are. They have all sorts of stuff in there! -
Love the use of "old" stuff to make new....I have a very old part of a double hung window, wooden frame, flower decal,,,and I've turned it into a mirror using Krylon's Looking Glass spray. Amazing look! -

Love the stuff you do. I love looking at all the different things you crafters do. I have used a few of your Ideas to use in my apartment.
