We need affordable fencing to mark our property line

We live on 1 acre of land and need to install fencing to divide our property from the neighbors but has to be very affordable. What type of fencing would be a good choice?

Fencing is very expensive. I to have an acre of land and had to replace the whole fence thanks to Super storm Sandy. I used Pressure treated stockade .It still was brutal. There have been many posts of people using pallets which would be cheaper in the long run but I personally do not think they will last. If you have a restore (habitat for humanity) I would research the possibility of getting discounts on fencing.

Just remember if the fence is your responsibility it is just that. Shrubs will not work on that size lot due to watering and general maintenance.
