Homemade Grout Cleaner Put to the Test!

It didn't matter how many times I cleaned the bathroom counters they never really LOOKED clean! The culprit? Dirty grout lines! So, after a quick search I discovered the power of two simple ingredients...Hydrogen Peroxide and Baking Powder. And I couldn't believe the results! I was so impressed I put it to the ultimate test which was the tile around the toilet used by my kids. Yuck! Boys and white tile don't mix well! But even that grout looks almost new now thanks to this simple yet oh so effective cleaner! ~Vanessa

Stanley Steemer, if you have it in your area, is a carpet and furniture co. that cleans areas of your home. They can also clean grout, I have all my grout in different rooms of the house cleaned once a year. Also, they have a permanent product they can put on the grout that will make it easy to clean grout. Just ask them about it. They put it on my grout for my floors, and I just take a wet sponge or rag and wipe away the dirt and it comes off very easily. I highly recommend the product. They can put it on tile grout for sink and vanity areas as well. If you don't have a Stanley Steemer in your area, you can see if another carpet/floor cleaning co. has it. I'm sure you can also buy the product yourself at a Lowes or Home Depot type of store and put in on yourself, it your're a DIY person.
