hollow log planter

I began this project by spraying the dried log with termite spray. I then used a planter bag and placed it inside the log, filled it with potting soil then trimmed the bag level with the log. I then transplanted my plant. This makes a nice addition to my courtyard.

I use a log for the pedestal of my birdbath. A log planter would make an awesome addition to one of my flowerbeds.

I have one that is a lot taller and hollow in the center ( nature made ) made a bird house to fit inside the hollowed out part of the log-door is on hinges for easy clean out
