frost

my althea bushes and some of my hosta got zapped by the frost. will they come back?also can i divide ornamental grasses right now . thank you appreciate the help.

    I would cut off hosta foliage that was damaged by frost and they should recover. The althea's are tough and should also recover. The ideal time to divide ornamental grasses is in early spring just as new growth emerges so go for it.

    Probably also just the right time to cut back any ornamental grasses you are not dividing, Terry.
