Which canvas looks best with this new sofa?

MN Mom on Apr 18, 2016Personally I like the second print with the path dappled with the sunlight. In my opinion the first print is nice but looks lonely.Helpful Reply

Laurie Harry on Apr 18, 2016I like them both. Are they both the same size? What type of frame? They both have the right coloring. It really depends on finished size and which looks best with the grouping.Helpful Reply

William on Apr 18, 2016Both are great within the proper decor. Pic 1 seems to be too subtle for the decor you have. Pic 2 seems to fit in better. It brings out the colors and texture in the table centerpiece but doesn't overpower it and blends the eye towards the lamps on the side table. Ties the room together.Helpful Reply

Mary on Apr 18, 2016I am getting them in canvas no frame at all They both are about 48 x 32Helpful Reply

Janet Pizaro on Apr 18, 2016I am for option 2 with a similar decorating theme all around your room.Helpful Reply

Heidi on Apr 18, 2016Just a thought, but instead of a standard picture, take a few pictures of something that has meaning to you and have it printed onto a canvas. House you grew up in, favorite vacation spot, etc.Helpful Reply

Marion Nesbitt on Apr 19, 2016I assume the length of the pic is 48". Pic #2 looks like an old classic and is much more interesting.Helpful Reply

Connie on Apr 19, 2016Try the solitary tree. As you look at it, your eye goes beyond just the tree into the background. It makes the room look bigger. The second one might look a little too busy with the pillows.Helpful Reply

Cheryl Gyles on Apr 19, 2016I'm partial to the tree-lined path. It picks up colors from your furniture as well as the wall color, and even ties in with your throw pillow design. Since it is "muted" it doesn't seem to overwhelm the space. You could also add a pop of color with an additional pillow or two in an olive or sage green.Helpful Reply

Debo on Apr 19, 2016Tree lined path is best. Furniture and decorations are pretty monochromatic, you need the color! FYI you're hanging pictures too high. Center of picture should be at the center of your head/eye level, or a little bit higher, but not much. I have a degree in design, and one of the most common things I fix for people are pictures hung too high...did it myself too :)Helpful Reply

Tammy Sea on Apr 19, 2016They both look beautiful and either would work well with your sofa. I prefer the single tree, but that's just a matter of personal taste. Choose whichever YOU like. There is no "wrong" answer here. :-)Helpful Reply

Kim C on Apr 19, 2016I like the boldness of the forest one. I think the single tree will blend in too much.Helpful Reply

Bobbie on Apr 19, 2016I like both and either goes well with the sofa style. The tree is a very classic simple look and the forest is a little more edgy.Helpful Reply

Ali2577511 on Apr 19, 2016they are both nice, but #2 will go better. With the touch of brown in the picture helps give more depth. Picture #2 is too light and blends in with the wall color.Helpful Reply

Cheryl Cunningham on Apr 19, 2016Both are beautiful . Love the first one but feel it's too dull for the simplicity of the furniture. The second would bring needed color and interest to the room.Helpful Reply

Kathy Lovenburg on Apr 20, 2016I like the 2nd one-- the colors play off the couch and the walls, and the yellow all combine to make it pop!! It becomes a great focal piece. I do like the 1st, but I feel it's more serene, perhaps more suited for a bedroom?Helpful Reply

-
Dobi on Apr 20, 2016personally I like the first one, it seems to speak to me! The second does have more color, but it also depends on what other colors you want to incorporate in your space. You could also change the lampshades to a different color, I think you can paint them! But it probably depends again on the material that is used!Helpful Reply
