That green color is the style they chose. We have a low-iron style of glass where it has more of a crystal clear look to it....

Fusion Glass is very expensive, due to the hours and technology behind the process.

@ Patty P -- You can, but we recommend trivets for hot pans/pots.

Sorry for everyone who was asking questions about Fusion Glass being breakable....I just saw this thread pop up after Nancy's comment. Fusion Glass performs much different than regular glass. Several sheets are fused together in a kiln to create a thick, heavy, much more durable top. But, it's still is glass.
