You just made my day. Thank you! -
not many things prettier than a rhododendron! -
This is so beautiful, I put the purple on my desktop background. Thank you! Replacing my cat and little garden! But this is so pretty! -
Are all these blooming in Ga NOW? -
The Rhodies are starting to bloom now. We had such a warm March that everything got sped up! -
Gorgeous! I have white Rhodies blooming. It may sound crazy but I think it changed color. I could have sworn they were pink years before. I love Columbine. Is it too late to plant them now? (if I can find them) They are perennials, right? -
Teresa, my rhododendron also changed color.I moved them 2 yrs. ago. They were not a very pretty almost white, now they a are a beautiful dark pink! I have so many columbine,I would love to share . If you are in Marietta let me know. -
Teresa, yes, columbines are perennials. You can certainly plant them now. -
I love Columbine too and they come up every year and bloom there little heads off. I don't think I can grow Rhododendrums here in So. Ca. It gets hot here in the summer. In the high 90s and 100s. I did see one in a nursery one time and it was huge and beautiful. The nursery owner said it needed a lot of care to survive our summers. I'm glad the Columbines grow sp well here. I grew some new ones last year by seeding directly in the ground and the some came up nicely. -
We have to be careful with the rhodies here too Irene. With the correct placement and soil we do pretty good though. -
I have seen them for sale around here once or twice. I guess I'll have a look around and find out what they need to survive. They have such pretty flowers. -
love columbines
