What can you tell me about vintage doctor's office jars?

I have a set of old apothecary jars like the kind that they used to have in all the doctor's offices. I got them for free, as the company I was working for was remodeling and was about to trash them.
What I don't know is- is there any history or value? Does anyone know anything about them? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Profex is the maker, they are mid-century, roughly. They sell in sets still,you can find some very nice condition sets on eBay and Etsy, but they can be a bit pricey. McMurray Antiques and Auctions specializes in apothecary jars if you have any additional questions. Not sure they handle this time period but they may be able to help you some. http://mcmurrayauctions.com/ Also, I am not versed in this era so I can't tell you for sure if yours or authentic period pieces or reproductions. Apothecary jars are what would have been used by apothecaries (pharmacists) they would be older and more valuable than the jars you have shown pictured. If yours is the set pictured they would valuable because of the completeness and the base.

Cool find. I have a couple of these from the 1800's that don't have any writing on the glass . I use them To hold small vignettes or faux plants.
