Lori T They have lavender "farms" over on the other side of the state. I have never been when they are in bloom but they make a big to do when they are blooming. Another awesome sight is when the tulips bloom and they have tulip festival type things.I REALLY need to go to one of those. WANT a DAY trip that lasts into the night! And you never know exactly when the blooming is happening. Just the general time period. Pretty accurate tho.
I live in texas in the spring time apirl and may you can take a drive up in brenham area on the back roads and hwy 59 see bluebonnets all along the roads there it is so beautiful..No picken them they are the state flower ...
did anyone ever find out where these picture were taken my good friends mom is 83 yrs old and just loves driving my friend during this time of year just so she can see all the flowers in bloom this time of yr.
Most people think it's illegal to pick them, but it's actually not. The link above says you just have to make sure you're not on private property and can't impede traffic. Just don't take a ton of them. You can buy seeds to plant:)
